Julio Jones To Need Foot Surgery
To follow up on my previous post about Julio Jones being the best receiver in this draft by far and possibly best player there is breaking news that i read on profootballtalk.com that says he has to have foot surgery. Apparently the physicals (most important part of the combine along with interviews) revealed some issue with his foot that is unknown at this point. Along with that the surgery and recovery appears to be around 8 weeks so it is not major, and considering the fact that he put up those MONSTER numbers at the combine while needing foot surgery only cements him near the top of my draft. I mean really, if the near consensus #2 WR posted numbers far superior to the CONSENSUS #1 receiver WHILE needing foot surgery and since I said (which really means nothing) that his games that I remember are better.....than this should cement him as the BEST WR in the draft. Unfortunately I have no credibility, nor do any NFL people listen to me, nor do i know any NFL people to talk to......but they should know me and listen to me because I have one thing they do not have which is common sense....And I have been right more than I have been wrong in the years I have done this seriously....I think my record on bust vs success is like 50.5-49.5 (jury is still out on Jay Cutler but I think I will ultimately win) so I know I am as good as the regular NFL talent evaluators that have full access to film and much better information....
