2012 Rookie All-Pro List

By:  Bobby Shores

Ok guys, I screwed the pooch on this one, I have been planning to do my 2012 NFL Draft All-Pro list for a while, and life, work, family, etc just keeps getting in the way (and this is one of my favorite articles to write). Basically it is a list with descriptions of some players that I believe were the best picks in the draft, I have had this list for a while just never had time to do the "why". So before I get to far into the season I am going to just publish the list, no descriptions, so I can have it time stamped.....Basically it is for my giant "I told you so" in a couple of years. I have already publicly said most of these were great prospects/picks in other articles, on draft my rankings page and on Twitter so most of it is not new.

And check out how my 2011 All-Pro and 2011 All-Bust lists are doing.

* Next to their name means they would have been on the list, No star means picks I really liked

*Matt Kalil - 1st Round - Vikings (Look how well Tyron Smith has done for the Cowboys, Kalil could be better)
*Fletcher Cox - 1st Round - Eagles (Wanted the Cowboys to draft him)
Michael Floyd - 1st Round - Cardinals (Best WR in Draft)
*Chandler Jones - 1st Round - Patriots (Love the family genes especially)
*David DeCastro - 1st Round - Steelers (Safest pick in the draft, IMO)
*Janoris Jenkins - 2nd Round - Rams (Best cover corner in draft has to keep clean though)
Cordy Glenn - 2nd Round - Bills (Great Guard at worst, good Tackle at best)
Stephen Hill - 2nd Round Jets (Just like the guy)
Jerel Worthy - 2nd Round - Packers (People question his effort, I saw massive disruption)
LaVonte David - 2nd Round - Buccaneers (Best pure tackling LB in draft)
*Russell Wilson - 3rd Round - Seahawks (Drew Brees lite-loved this guy all season)
Jake Bequette - 3rd Round - Patriots (Won't be a superstar, but will play for a long time)
Joe Adams - 4th Round - Panthers (Other than return ability, I like him as a WR MORE cause of the offense he will be in, if he was picked by 25 of the teams I wouldn't be as high on him)
*Devon Wylie - 4th Round - Chiefs (Fell in love with him at combine (against my own rules) and I think he could be Percy Harvin-esque)
*Brandon Boykin - 4th round - Eagles (Will be one of best "slot corners" in a few years)
*Greg Childs - 4th Round - Vikings (He was on my list before he tore both patellar tendons, see I am being honest!!)
